I really wish they worked on her dramatic screams though because those were just awful. Anyways as for the other characters we have April O'Neil played by Megan Fox who was alright. Yeeeeah lot of product placement in this movie. Or a Samsung phone and tablet commercial. Like you can feel that the jokes were modeled for kids which the whole movie is basically. They deliver some funny lines although not everyone of them hit. The turtles are the best part of this movie. I grew up on that and the 80's cartoon and 1990's movies. A darker take but still humorous and likable. I want them to reflect how they were in the 2003 cartoon preferably. I wanted simply one thing from this movie after all the crap I've seen from it over the last few years. From there they must work together and stop Shredder from releasing a toxin on the city. The turtles stop her and return to their master who says they need April's help. She then witnesses the turtles stop them and follows them to get evidence of their existence. From there we meet April (Megan Fox) who's trying to get a story about the evil foot clan that have been terrorizing the city. So the movie opens up in sort of a graphic novel type animation telling the story of the turtles which I'll admit was a nice nod to the original source material from which Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles came from. 4 mutated turtles grow up in the sewer raised by a giant rat who knows martial arts and trains them so they can protect the city from Shredder. Directed by Jonathan Liebesman for some reason and produced by Michael Bay, also for some reason. I won’t be rushing back any time soon. Here we go So Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is the reboot to the ever so popular Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise. Even though there were plenty of workers, nobody was really working. Overall, we paid $72 for one hour at the lane, including shoes and tax, excluding drinks. All of a sudden the balls start returning, and now they’re piling up, and falling off the rack. We’re still trying to play, as our time is running out. Again, back to the check-in to let them know that the balls weren’t returning. So we had to take balls from the empty lanes near us, or from the heavy balls at the back of the alley. With about 10 minutes remaining, the balls quit coming back to our lane. (Except for the group of seven in the next lane, that thought they could use all the seats in our lane). So, back to the check-in to get the bumpers working. Even though when we reserved, we actually typed in the names, along with who needed bumpers. Once it started, it didn’t have the kids bumpers in the alleys. So we had to go all the way back to the check-in to let them know. We finally got onto our lane, and it wouldn’t start. It took over one hour for four drinks to arrive! She had to keep running back to the restaurant area to get drinks, when there is actually a bar in that bowling area, but they only had beer. We sat and waited, and ordered drinks, after chasing down the one girl looking after the entire area. So in fact, our 5:30 reserved lane was now at 6:00. When we arrived at our lane, we found that the people in our lane had another 30 minutes of bowling. Which meant we then had to change our dinner reservations to later. When we arrived they told us our lane would be ready in 10-15 minutes. We reserved a lane online for 5:30, because they were getting filled up. Four of us (2 adults, 2 kids) decided to go bowling on a Saturday night.
